Shein’s cut-price Hong Kong IPO is a deal — and a warning for London
Shein is set to raise about US$1.73 billion in Hong Kong at a valuation of roughly US$26.5 billion, far below prior private-market marks. The transaction shows IPO windows are open for large consumer-growth names, but only at reset prices and, in Shein’s case, outside London.
