Snap is making artificial intelligence central to its wearable-computing pitch with Specs Intelligence, a cross-device assistant designed to work across Snap’s Specs AR glasses, iPhone and Mac. The assistant draws on connected personal context to suggest actions before a user types or speaks a prompt.1

If Snap can make that continuity feel natural, Specs Intelligence could help differentiate Specs from camera-first smart glasses and phone-tethered AR displays. If the assistant feels intrusive, opaque or too limited by permissions, the same architecture could become a barrier to adoption.
For now, Snap’s move signals where it believes wearable computing is headed: away from one-off voice commands and toward AI systems that sit across screens, services and sensors, offering help before the user has to ask.14
